Matter of Minds Health & Wellness is seeking individuals for the position of Behavior Consultant, Mobile Therapist, and Behavior Health Technician that want to make a difference in the lives of children and their families. All positions are currently needed throughout Chester and Delaware Counties.

Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) are interventions and supports for children, youth, or young adults under the age of 21 with mental health, emotional, or behavioral needs. The goal of IBHS is to collaborate with youth, families, and caregivers across settings to develop and implement goals and interventions through an Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP).

Positions available:

These opportunities are highly flexible and can be a primary or secondary job. While some evenings are typically required, this position can work around your scheduling needs.

BCBA/ LBS/ BC

Required Qualifications:

Graduate degree in psychology, social work, counseling or related human services field with at least nine credits specific to clinical practice in psychology, social work, education, counseling, or a related field

  • Completed a clinical or MH direct service practicum or have a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in providing mental health direct services to children, youth, or young adults
  • or Be licensed as a social worker or a behavior specialist and have a graduate degree that required a clinical or mental health direct service practicum
  • or Be licensed as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, or clinical social worker

Education: Master’s or Doctoral

Experience: Applied behavior analysis: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification: BCBA (Preferred) LBS, LPC, LCSW, LSW, BCBA (Preferred)

Mobile Therapist

MT services are used to provide therapy to a child, youth or young adult and family members to work on identified goals for the child, youth, and young adult.  Mobile therapy will be provided in the home and community.  MT will hold meeting to facilitate discussion with child, youth, or young adult’s treatment team in regarding best practice and evidence-based intervention.  MT services can also be used to help a child, youth or young adult process emotional difficulties, trauma, or behavioral health problems.

  • Be licensed in this Commonwealth as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist or clinical social worker and have a graduate degree that required a clinical or mental health direct service practicum from a college or university.
  • Have a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in providing mental health direct services to children, youth or young adults and a graduate degree with at least nine credits specific to clinical practice in psychology, social work or counseling from a college or university.  

Behavior Health Technician (BHT)

Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) are used to implement a child, youth, and young adult’s Individual Treatment Plan (ITP).  BHT utilized evidence-based therapy. 

  • Have at least high school diploma or the equivalent of a high school diploma and have completed a 40-hour training covering the RBT Task List as evidenced by a certification that includes the name of the responsible trainer, who is certified as a BCBA or BCaBA.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the provision of behavioral health services.
